Last weekend was tough, so Sunday found me on a couch with some spliffs, pizza, and movies. One of the best flicks from Sunday was “The People Under the Stairs” from Wes Craven (1991). Man, this movie is a wild one. Plot is something like: young kid breaks into a house with Ving Rhames in order to steal some old coins so his family can pay the rent — the house though is owned by 2 psychos, and also houses an assortment of unwanted/cannibal teens who live in bedrooms, basement cages, between the walls, and obviously, under the stairs.
