Skanky Panky Records is a new label focusing the expanding “glitch-hop” genre. Run by William Breakspear & SixAM, who originally come from the DnB / breakbeat side of things, Skanky Panky seems be putting a bit of sassiness (uhm, by this i think i mean appealing to UK chicks with neon clothes) and bassines into it. Some cool stuff here, with a range of sounds/styles. Some of my fav stuff on the label is coming from Canadian producer/dj JmeJ, so make sure to check out his tunes! Belgium knows whats up when it comes to dubstep, and if you’ve been to any of the parties down there, you’ll surely know what we mean. If you haven’t been down there for a rave or 2, then perhaps this documentary will give a bit of insight into their view of dubstep and the experiences they’ve had with it.
