SubFM is where I first heard dubstep (shout out to DJ Whistla) and is still my fav station to listen to. So, of course I found it dope that they were part of an upcoming dubstep party in Amsterdam. Dub Explorations will take place at the Flexbar with this lineup : BunZero (BE), 3zee1 (UK), F.K.A. (NL), & Bojcot (NL). The party goes from 23:00 – 05:00 with the whole thing being streamed on SubFM.

Time for another dose of “tooth grinding dubstep” as Subbalicious does their Brass Knuckles party at Panama this Thursday,May 6th. The line-up includes G Double (Rinse.FM / Sub Freq – UK), Demon ( Macabre Unit / 6FBS – UK)Osiris, MC Quest One, and VJ Class/A. Should be another night of hard hitting dubstep. Also, there will be a flatland bmx showcase from Navid Salenki (see video below).

Queen’s Day will soon be upon us, so I think its up to Brrrap! to let you know where to hear your favorite bass sounds. First on the list is the Plattegrond Records & Lemon Community streetrave. The location is Runstraat 2, Amsterdam, kinda back in the lower Jordaan a bit. The lineup includes Hakki Takki, Bahk, Mataklap, Makks, Gameboys A Go-Go, and many more. Expect loads of experimental stuff, and tangents off from the standard dubstep lines. Here’s a taste of whats to come:

Lockdown is known mainly for their underground parties in Amsterdam, and this year they continue things with a party on a boat. Like their previous parties, the exact location is a secret, but its gonna be on a boat that docks in the vicinity of Centraal Station. The lineup is : Cinnaman, Aardvarck, Akkachar, & Plus – with sound supplied by the mighty King Shiloh Soundsystem. I’d suggest getting your tickets early at RushHour on the Spuistraat, ’cause they’re gauranteed to sell out at some point. Don’t miss the boat (literally), be here, bring some booze, bring good vibes, bring shoes you don’t mind destroying, and get down. See ya there.
